Thaimadi nursery was launched in February 2020 with the support of Rotary Club of Madras East (RCME) and San Antonio Tamil Sangam (SATS) at Keelakottai, Ambalapattu. So far, RCME has contributed Rs. 1 lakh (about 1,400 US Dollars). The objective of this nursery is to produce a minimum of 100,000 native trees over the next 5 years...
The four mother beds in Thai Madi nursery (Russia, JegaJothi, Dravida Mani, and Kalaimani) are named after women who were either born in Ambalapattu or associated with the village through wedlock.
